Crete

C

rete is the largest island in Greece, and the fifth largest one in the Mediterranean Sea. Here, you can admire the remnants of brilliant civilizations, explore glorious beaches, impressive mountainscapes, fertile valleys and become part of the island’s rich gastronomic culture. Crete is divided in four different apartments; Chania, Rethymno, Heraklion and Agios Nikolaos.

One of Europe's most popular holiday destinations

Chania is in the westernmost part of the island. It is one of the most charming and appealing tourist destinations of Greece, with thousands of visitors every year.

Rethymno combines rarely united features: the old town’s charm and history, with proximity to a long sandy beach. Its timeless attractions and diverse landscapes, city architecture, museums, archaeological sites, endless sandy beaches, and escapes to nearby villages will reward you with a rich cultural yet relaxed experience all year round.

Heraklion is the largest city of Crete and one of Greece’s major urban centers. The city flourished under a multicultural influence throughout the centuries; that’s why there is a plethora of Byzantine, Venetian and Ottoman structures to look out for!

Agios Nikolaos is the capital of the region of Lasithi, located on the easternmost part of the island. It’s a beautiful seaside town, popular among tourists for its beaches and its year-round warm and sunny climate.

Crete is renowned for its pin-up beaches, wild natural beauty, exquisite cuisine and thousands of years of culture and history. This mystical, pure and generous island to the south of the Aegean Sea captures the spirit of Greece and enchants everyone who visits.

Vast and varied, Crete is a magical place that will capture your heart
