About the retreat leader

Katie Horwitch is a self-talk expert with over a decade of experience helping women rewrite their self-told stories. Katie is a mindset coach, writer, speaker, and the founder of WANT: Women Against Negative Talk, a multimedia platform and membership community that gives women tips, tools, motivation, and inspiration to move forward fearlessly by shifting their negative self-talk patterns. Her unique brand of positive, proactive coaching has been recognized internationally: Katie has been featured on CNN as a ``woman empowering others around the world,`` and has worked with brands like SXSW, Lululemon, Whole30 and others to help people find, be, stay and WANT themselves no matter how life unfolds. She is the host of the WANTcast: The Women Against Negative Talk Podcast, an NLP-trained coach practitioner, a classically trained performer, and a multi-certified fitness instructor (currently a top-rated trainer on the digital platform Aaptiv) who specializes in merging cardio coaching with positive mindset shifts. She currently lives in New York City with her husband Jeremy and dog-daughter Frankie, and spends her energy on shifting the cultural self-talk paradigm, producing engaging new content for women both online and off, and advising creatives, entrepreneurs and executives alike on how to use their unique strengths to make the biggest impact possible.
