In this 5-day wellness exploration, yoga masters Sarah Platt-Finger and Katrina Repka will guide you through the art and science of self-healing on the idyllic island of Crete.

Through daily yoga and meditation practices that are grounded in Ayurvedic philosophy, you will gain a deeper understanding of your individual constitution, known in Sanskrit as prakriti. Additionally, you will learn how to harmonize your constitution with your environment and life circumstances, vikriti.

This retreat is designed to help you establish the right practice for your unique mind/body type. We will look at how imbalances manifest, and how to come back into alignment to live a life filled with vitality and meaning.

About the retreat leaders

Sarah Platt-Finger is the Director of Chopra Yoga at IIN, and the co-founder of ISHTA Yoga, LLC. Deepak Chopra has called Sarah “an extraordinary teacher of yoga who has called enormously to my well-being.” She is the coauthor of Living in the Light: Yoga for Self-Realization with Dr. Chopra and has been sharing the transformative tools of yoga worldwide for over two decades.

Sarah received her 500-hour Yoga certification in the ISHTA lineage in 2004 and was initiated as a Yoga Master by her husband, Kavi Yogiraj Alan Finger, in 2013. Since then, Sarah has made it her life’s purpose to share the authentic and potent teachings of yoga worldwide. She helped develop one of the most renowned Yoga Teacher Training programs in New York City that expanded internationally to London, Sweden, Germany, Japan, and Australia. She most recently developed the Chopra Yoga 200-hour online Teacher Training course, which is accredited by Yoga Alliance and accessible in up to 85 countries.

Sarah believes that the practice of yoga on the mat reflects the reality we create off the mat, and that a deeper awareness of our physical, mental, and emotional patterns can empower us to connect to the essence of our being.

Yogiraj Katrina Repka has been studying and teaching yoga for over 30 years. Her early training – in her hometown of Calgary, Canada – was in Ashtanga, but she moved to New York in 2001 and became immersed in the study of ISHTA yoga. Katrina has lived in London, England since 2006, and teaches ISHTA classes, workshops and retreats worldwide.

Katrina holds a BA and MSC (Communications), and is the co-author (with Alan Finger) and featured model of Chakra Yoga: Balancing Energy for Physical, Spiritual, and Mental Well-being, and Breathing Space: Twelve Lessons for the Modern Woman. She has been featured in numerous publications including Vogue, Elle, the Guardian and the Daily Telegraph, and as a yoga expert on BBC TV and radio.

Cancellation Policy: Deposit amount is non-refundable | Should you wish to cancel your participation one month or less before the start of the retreat, 100% of cancellation fees are applied.

Important Info: All rooms in Minos Palace Resort are equipped with double beds that can be made up with separate bedding. No twin beds are available.

Dietary Needs: Should you have any special dietary need/allergy, kindly let us know in advance in order to be able to better accommodate you in the best possible way.

Transport: For Sarah’s and Katrina’s retreat in Crete, you can fly into Heraklion International Airport (HER).

From there, you can book a transfer to the hotel (duration: 50min).

Covid-19: In case there are Covid-19 restrictions or restrictions related to any other pandemic that prevent guests from traveling the total amount paid will be refunded.
