Move Mindfully. This is your chance to not only move your body, but feel your mind and soul moved from a deeper, conscious level as well.
Over 5 days we will practice different styles of mindfulness methods including Yoga, Meditation, Breath Work, Mental Training and Journaling. As the main focus of these days will be Yoga & Movement, you can expect profound body-alignment-methods as well as flowing movements, synchronized with your breath and oriented on your level of experience and know-how. Some of the Vinyasa Flow-parts will be practiced on-beat to music.
Dive deep into the astonishing surrounding of one of the most beautiful locations in northeastern Crete, Agios Nikolaos. Nourish your senses with the smell of the salty sea and a hundreds of olive trees and mediterranean herbs all over the hotel gardens. Enjoy the breathtaking 360° view over the Mirabello Bay while having excellent Cretan cuisine. Sunrise and sunset will be our companion while experiencing a uniquely, transformational and heart-warming time together.
After these 5 days of connecting to yourself you will feel nourished within your heart and soul, have reached the next level of your Yoga-practice and have built-up a sustainable transformation of mindful mindset and body-mind-connection for your daily life beyond the mat.
Suitable for experienced Yoga practicioners and/or Yoga beginners who already have basic know-how, like to move in a sporty and dynamic way and would like to expand their level of experience. Not suitable for absolute Yoga newbies.
This retreat will be held in English or German, depending on the language-background of participants.
About the retreat leader
Born and raised in Vienna, Alexandra’s background is related to Human Resources Management & Systemic Coaching and a long-term teaching experience in the field of Mindfulness practices, especially Yoga. Since 2013 she combines her profound know-how into regular Yoga classes, Workshops and Retreats for private and business clients.
Using principles of Mindfulness, Coaching and Mental Training, Alexandra creates an environment for people to feel better on both a physical and mental level. At the heart of her vision is the desire to provide a transformative experience for her participants. Her teaching style is oriented on biomechanical techniques, Vinyasa Flow style and body-mind-connection. She delivers a warm, always customer service-orientated approach for everybody to feel safe in her/his own practice and loves to see participants grow and expand in their own personal development.

awareness? Learn about the connection between mindset and physical
practice. Pranayama (yogic breathing technique) is the connecting element of
body and mind.

Finding focus in static as well as dynamic movement is essential for a practice
to calm your mind and energizes your body and soul.
- 07:45-09:00 Powerful Morning:
After mental contemplation you find into strength physically, focus your mind
and close the practice with a yummie stretching time.

- 17:00-18:30: From A to B:
We learn to flow consciously and safely between the positions while
generating grace in movement. Finally, we treat ourselves during a wonderful
stretch & relax-practice and let our muscles and thoughts find calm and

How to deal with emotions coming up inside your mind while its getting calm
outside? What about dealing with heavy emotions during a mindfulness
practice? While making mindful movements a more and more safe routine,
the yoga asanas in flowing motion are an expression of our mental

- 17:30-18:30: Contemplative Walk, Pranayama & Yin Yoga:
Mindful walking & sensing the natural surrounding. After a wonderful
breathing technique we will sink deep into a relaxing Yin Yoga practice while
listening to the sound of the waves.
- 07:45-09:15: Closing Ceremony & Inside FlowÒ:
Inside FlowÒ is an evolution of Vinyasa Flow Yoga: to modern music we buildup a defined sequence where every movement follows the beat and
breathing. A powerful, dynamic practice that will not only improve your body
feeling, but above all will touch your heart. At Inside Flow we express our
feelings through graceful movement.
